Awesome Farmhouse Living Room Decor Ideas
If I’m honest, I’ve felt an overwhelming sense of boredom lately. The days sort of run in to one another and if I’m honest, I’m missing the busyness of a full life. I’ve crossed off most of the projects on my to-do list that I’m capable of doing and I’m trying to bide my time until I can complete others. Even the idea of planning future things has felt on hold because of the uncertainty of the times. I’ve felt like I’m climbing the walls out of sheer boredom.

But I didn’t want to leave this post full of my grumbling so I wanted to list three things that I’m thankful for and instead focus on those things.

🖤 The weather has been beautiful. The sky is blue and the air has been such a lovely temperature. We have two robins nests in our yard and watching these birds fly and sing and chase one another has honestly been a joy to all of us.

🖤 I have a job which I absolutely love and coworkers who are the most hilarious people. I love getting to zoom with them every Tuesday and am so grateful to be able to work remotely during this time.

🖤 I’m thankful for my home. Even when it feels like I’m being closed in on by utter boredom, I’m so grateful for this place. We didn’t live here for nearly four years as we renovated our home and I’m so thankful that I have this place. It’s not perfect. We are trying to redo our yard and I still lack overhead light fixtures. But I’m grateful for what I have – even if I’d like to paint the living room and trade in our 12 year old sofas for something new. It’s mine and I’m thankful. I dreamt of being here for so long.
