I was in a flea market (pre-quarantine) having a conversation with an older guy. He had a killer copper tea pot that we were negotiating over. I told him the reason I wanted it was because it would look great in my kitchen because I have a copper sink. He looked at me like I had lost my mind and said, “What in the devil possessed you to get a copper sink?” 😳😐
Because I wanted to.
That’s it- I have a copper sink because it’s my house and I wanted one. 🙈
Seems simple right? It got me thinking… I’m so glad I didn’t let anyone talk me out of the things I wanted in my house. It’s so easy to give in while going through construction. Don’t let anyone- and I mean anyone talk you out of what you know is right for you and your family ❤️. You can listen to the opinion of others without automatically adopting their view.
