Inspiring Farmhouse Style Design Ideas
This is my first fully “open space” home. I love being able to see “through” my spaces to find pops of color and decor in another room. It is also convenient for conversing with guests. An open floor plan can be tricky to decorate though. The rooms need to flow into one another but yet you don’t want it all the same. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That is why we have the same wall color throughout our home—to create the flow. Our furniture was chosen within one color palette but different textures and patterns add interest. Change comes seasonally by adding accent colors in pillows, throws, florals and decor. Do you love an open floor plan or prefer separate spaces?
