Amazing Farmhouse Bedroom Decor Ideas
When redesigning a room I usually start with a couple inspiration pieces and then build the details around that.

For my boys’ bedroom makeover last year I knew I wanted these beds. And I knew I wanted to find some black and white buffalo plaid bedding.

For a neutral backdrop I put up the faux shiplap wallpaper and paint the room in Platinum by Behr.

Next was the rug, and designing these signs. I actually worked with the designers and with my son Roan who was very specific about what he wanted and didn’t want. In the end I love the way they turned out, and so do my boys. Signs by @wood_scape._

The truth is I don’t always end up loving the rooms I design. But when they turn out super functional AND loved by the family, then I know I did it right! And that definitely applies to this room! The boys love it so it was a win all around!
