Last day of school!!! 🙌🏻🎉 Have I mentioned recently just how much I love homeschool? 😂 We school year-round and started school July 22. We took a really long break from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day, and also had off a couple weeks throughout the year. We finished school May 8 and now have off for 13 weeks before we’ll start again in August. Let’s face it, when you’re a homeschool family the learning never really stops. You’re constantly looking for every possible “teachable moment”. We’ll continue doing @thegoodandthebeautiful science throughout summer, as we’re really excited to start their new Energy unit, followed by Arthropods. We also keep up with math so that everything they’ve learned isn’t forgotten by the time homeschool starts again. I can’t believe next school year I’ll have kids in 8th, 6th, 3rd, and 2nd grade. 8 years of homeschool down already with only 11 years to go. 😭❤️ When do you finish school? It’s going to be a high of 45° here tomorrow, possible snow, and 30mph winds, so it’ll be a while before it feels like summer break. 😆 #homeschoolroom #homesweethomeschool #homeschooliscool
