Fascinating Farmhouse Bedroom Decor Ideas
I saw this sign at an antique shop when I was taking my boys to school one day. The shop is owned by a high school friend so, of course, I had to stop and ask about it. A few minutes later, we were loading it up in my car. It’s an old rusty metal sign for a historic Virginia estate on the James River owned by William Byrd that dates to 1937. It was part of the Westover Plantation and named after Byrd’s daughter Evelyn. It was designed by a Richmond architect. So, there’s your history lesson for today (share with your kids 🤣). It’s also reversible with words in red on the other side. Anyway, I just love it and all it’s rusty patina. I hope y’all are staying safe and I’m sending lots of hugs!
